Before you buy
Every game we sell passes a hands-on functionality check before it reaches the shelf or the website. Because of the nature of pre-owned goods, all sales are final, so please read this page and the item’s condition type before ordering. If something about your order seems wrong and you believe it falls outside this policy, email orders@mallowgames.com with your order number and we will take a look.
Pre-owned games: what you’re buying
Mallow Games by Most Wanted sells pre-owned video games and consoles. Every game we sell has passed a hands-on inspection by our staff before reaching the shelf or the website:
Discs will be free of cracks, deep scratches, and top-layer data damage.
Cartridges will have clean, uncorroded contact pins.
Every game must be playable. If it doesn’t pass, we don’t sell it.
Consoles come with one controller and all cords and cables needed to play. Some retro consoles do not support HDMI; please check that the console will work with your home setup before ordering.
Handheld consoles come with a charger if they originally sold with one.
Consoles are tested in our stores and are shipped working.
Product photos
The photo on a listing is catalog cover art, not a photo of the exact copy you will receive.
Pre-owned copies vary in cosmetic condition, and the image shows you which game and edition you’re buying, not its surface wear.
Console photos are also stock photography and do not depict the actual item unless otherwise stated. You may receive a different color of controller or, in some cases, a third-party controller.
Condition types
- Sealed: Factory sealed, never opened.
- Complete: The game plus its case/box, cover art & manual where applicable.
- Disc Only / Cart Only: The game itself, without its original case.
Cosmetic variance: the honest version
A Complete game is complete, but we cannot guarantee mint, collector-grade condition on the case, artwork, or disc surface. Expect normal signs of use.
Original packaging is not guaranteed: Where a game arrived without its original case or art, in limited cases we may supply a clean reproduction case and printed cover art; such copies are not sold as Complete.
Manuals, inserts, and promotional materials are not guaranteed: on any pre-owned game unless the listing says otherwise. Digital content (DLC codes, online passes, digital bonuses) should be assumed redeemed or expired on all pre-owned games.
Concerns about condition are not refund eligible.
Pricing and availability
Our prices track the used-game market and change without notice. Items shown as “Pickup Only” at a specific store are available to buy in person at that location and are not available for shipping.
Our inventory is physical stock in real stores. In the rare case an item sells in-store at the same moment it’s ordered online, we’ll cancel and fully refund the online order (see the Terms of Service).
Order verification
A first-time order over $300 may be subject to additional verification before it ships. If your order is selected, we will contact you using the details on the order to confirm a few things. This usually adds no more than a business day. An order we cannot verify is cancelled and fully refunded.
