Critical Depth

Critical Depth PS1 is a one-of-a-kind submarine-based action game that stands out in the original PlayStation library. Instead of cars, you pilot armed submarines in a high-intensity demolition derby beneath the waves. SingleTrac built this shooter on the foundation of their Twisted Metal franchise, but reimagined the formula for underwater combat.

Critical Depth PS1 Highlights

• Unique underwater demolition derby gameplay with ballistic combat
• Third-person action shooter exclusively on the original PlayStation
• Developed by SingleTrac, the studio behind Twisted Metal
• Released in 1997, a standout title from the PS1’s early library

This is a single-player action game that delivers a refreshingly different take on vehicular combat. Rather than the street-based mayhem of similar titles, the underwater setting and submarine mechanics create a distinct experience. Condition: Pre-Owned. The game was published by GT Interactive and Atari Europe, cementing its place in PS1 history as a quirky gem that fans of action games and unique gameplay concepts still hunt for today.

Pre-owned copies offer genuine value and are often easier to find than sealed versions. You’ll get a tested, functional disc that lets you explore one of the PS1’s most unusual titles without the premium price tag. Pick up in-store or have it shipped to your door.
